About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team at Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) in Decatur, AL.
This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and career-oriented professional to work alongside our exceptional providers and staff in a traditional outpatient setting.
As a member of our treatment team, you will collaborate with psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners to provide clinical therapy and develop treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
Responsibilities
- Observe client behavior, assess needs, and create treatment strategies
- Diagnose psychological, behavioral, and emotional disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with physicians, nurse practitioners, and medical professionals
- Involve and consult with clients' families during treatment
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Social Work or LPC license in the state of Alabama
- Sound understanding of federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records
