Duties

- Process medical billing claims and ensure timely submission to insurance companies.
- Review patient records for accuracy and completeness before billing.
- Handle medical collections by following up on unpaid claims and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain organized medical records in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies in documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines, regulations, and payer requirements.
- Manage and coordinate services for the program.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in medical coding systems such as ICD-10, ICD-9, and DRG is required.
- Experience in medical billing, collections, and managing medical records is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding principles.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards is advantageous.
