Job Description
Integrated Behavioral Technologies, Inc. (IBT) is a group of caring individuals whose goal is to provide children and their families with the behavioral therapy services they need to succeed. We are a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves children across the state of Kansas with a focus on rural and low-income areas. IBT is hiring several Behavioral Therapists/Direct Service Providers (DSPs) in Northeast, Southeast, Central and Southwest Kansas:
- Kansas City, Shawnee, Merriam, McLouth, Leavenworth, Lawrence
- Topeka and surrounding areas
- Pittsburg and surrounding areas
- Manhattan and surrounding areas
- Emporia and surrounding areas
- Dodge City and surrounding areas
DSPs work as part of a treatment team implement behavioral interventions using an applied behavior analytic framework. Candidates must be enthusiastic, flexible, and have a strong interest in working with children with special needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
Minimum Qualifications
In addition to the requirements for each role listed above, applicants must:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid ID, have reliable transportation and maintain appropriate auto insurance (unless previously agreed upon)
- Pass criminal background checks as required by each funding source.
- Possess interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with clients, caregivers, and team members
- Be willing to work on a flexible schedule: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, between 8am-8pm, and some weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with autism

Employees must also achieve at least 80% accuracy on the initial IBT training within 14 days of employment. Employees failing to achieve 80% accuracy will be placed on unpaid administrative leave until this outcome can be achieved.
