Job Summary:
The Insurance Intake Representative is responsible for managing the initial stages of newly inherited clients. This role involves gathering and verifying information from clients, data entry, and ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
To be successful as an Intake Representative, candidates should possess strong multi-tasking skills, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. As well as being organized, self-sufficient, and able to work independently with a thorough approach to their duties. Candidates should be able to assist management, all clients, and insurance companies, by providing courteous and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, handling office tasks, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Client Interaction: Answer mainline phones and route calls to the appropriate parties. Provide assistance and information to clients regarding their paperwork and claim.
· Mail Management: Assist with distributing incoming and outgoing mail to the correct parties within the organization.
· Document Generation: Create and prepare documents for clients once they have confirmed their intention to use our services. Ensure that all generated documents meet the required standards and are delivered promptly.
· Form Follow-Up: Follow up with clients to obtain any missing forms or additional documentation needed to process their claims.
· Document Processing: Process returned documents accurately and efficiently to ensure the claim progresses to the next stage.
· Coordination: Collaborate with claim representatives and other internal staff to ensure a seamless and efficient claims process from start to finish.
Qualifications:
· Completion of high school or equivalent
· Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably within the insurance industry
· Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities
· Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
· Previous experience in a collaborative, team-based work environment is beneficial.

Pay: $32,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
