We're always on the hunt for a rockstar DESIGNER to join our team in El Dorado Hills. Here's your chance to bring your design skills to the table and work with our top-notch Design-Build Program Managers to determine the design scope of the project based on client expectations, directives, and deadlines. We're looking for someone who is a real go-getter, always on top of their deadlines, and knows how to keep their cool under pressure. Key responsibilities include:
- Plan and develop conceptual plans and concept design elements to fulfill client and project objectives
- Produce creative and functional space plans that maximize client value while adhering to applicable code requirements
- Select material finishes, design custom millwork, and select all specialty design elements
- Develop/determine the furniture, fixture, and equipment elements required to satisfy the design
- Develop interior/exterior signage, artwork and design accessories necessary to create branded environments
- Support/Prepare detailed construction documents, while ensuring accuracy and original design intent
- Review/Produce complete and precise millwork drawings of high-end commercial furniture and fixtures
- Verify occupancy, path-of-travel, and ADA compliance
Requirements
- A four-year degree (or its equivalent in work experience) in Interior Design or Architecture
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and MS Office; working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; ArchiCAD experience a plus
- Advanced skills in layout and rendering 3D models
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable building codes and ADA regulations
- Experience creating construction documents, furniture drawings and specifications
- Ability to travel within the western United States
- Minimum 2-3 years of commercial interior design experience
