POSTING POSITION:  Associate Project Manager

REPORTS TO:  Operations Director                                                                              

LOCATION:  Minneapolis, MN

SALARY RANGE:  $70,000 to $110,000

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. ABOUT THIS ROLE:

As an EOS “Traction” company (Right Person/Right Seat) the successful candidate is an intelligent and ambitious individual who aspires to be a project manager within the commercial construction space, including electrical, or fire, and/or HVAC systems.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Learn and assist with project estimating.
• Learn and assist with project scheduling.
• Learn and assist with the oversight and management of subcontractors.
• Support Directors and Project Managers with administrative tasks; writing purchase orders, subcontract agreements, statement of work, etc.
• Develop field to office data into customer facing reports.
• Communicate with and gather data from electrical utility companies.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency; maintain, meet, or exceed construction standards/codes.
• Develop/Maintain customer relationships to secure future work.

ABOUT YOU (RIGHT PERSON):

You bring a minimum of one (1) year of experience working for a commercial design build contractor with preferred knowledge in the electrical and/or fire and/or HVAC disciplines demonstrating the following:

You possess meticulous work habits including close attention to detail, time management, people skills, problem-solving skills, exceptional organizational skills, ability to effectively communicate and present technical information verbally and in writing via Microsoft Office applications (mainly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.

Education:  High School diploma with trade and/or college project management schooling or related field.

Experience:  Minimum one (1) year working for a design build contractor.
