THE POSITION

The Training Manager and Curriculum Developer will be working directly with the JSSC Program Manager, alternate Program Manager, Team Leads and key government leaders within JSSC training end customers on key Department of Defense (DoD) systems, managing the contract’s overall training efforts and developing curriculum supporting the intentional, technical and professional development of the contracted technical workforce.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical Training Responsibilities: Provide training on JWICS network and systems, including AMHS, GCCS-J, JPES, and JOPES, to JSSC customers within the NMCC’s NCSS. Ensure senior DoD personnel can effectively use these systems for planning, Command and Control (C2), and military operations.
  • Research and Course Development: Conduct research to design advanced-level technology training programs, such as IA, IPv6, and Secure Virtualization, and update training courses as needed. Prepare user guides, manuals, and scenario-based materials while customizing training sessions and demonstrations.
  • Training Program Management: Manage training programs by developing curricula for ICS contracts, evaluating workforce development needs, and maintaining training documentation. Incorporate government and commercial courses into the curriculum and make recommendations for training improvements.
  • Training Compliance Tracking: Develop a training management program to ensure compliance with DoD Directive 8570 and PWS requirements. Track contract training requirements to maintain workforce readiness throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Delivery of Training: Deliver training through classroom courses, workshops, and computer-based methods for new and operations personnel. Provide just-in-time training for CAT personnel and integrate COTS and GOTS systems for specialized system-level training.
  • Judgment and Innovation: Use independent judgment to develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve contract results. Identify and implement improvements by following innovation and quality processes.
  • Customer and Team Interaction: Build trust with customers and collaborate effectively with team members to ensure contract success. Establish strong working relationships in a matrixed environment to support mission objectives.
  • Support and Compliance: Enhance the customer’s operating environment while ensuring contract performance in support of U.S. national security objectives. Maintain compliance with safety, security policies, certifications, and other assigned duties and projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum active Top-Secret Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI); AND,
  • High school diploma; AND,
  • 5 years of experience in the specialization in the delivery of training instruction or related field, and
