Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
• Accountable for local maintenance scheduling and performance to ensure equipment dependability;
• Perform all duties of a skilled maintenance technician following recognized procedures for such work, as required;
• Ability to read and use maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, schematics, blueprints, drawings, and other related maintenance documents to complete work assignments;
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic problems and resolve them within an established timeframe;
• Maintain complete and accurate maintenance records and conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections on equipment;
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent;
• Must be at least 18 years old;
• Must be able to speak and hear efficiently;
• Basic to intermediate computer skills;
* Candidates must have their own basic set of tools (sockets/wrenches) up to 1" in size and up to 1/2" drive.
• Effective time management and organizational skills to manipulate multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines at once;
• Knowledge of fluid types, diesel-powered machines, and tools including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance;
* Welding experience is preferred
• Maintain and treat all information as confidential;
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English;
• Must be able to verbally direct in English;
• Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives;
• Proven knowledge and use of standard and specialty tools and specialized testing equipment (i.e. photo tachometer, diagnostics tools, and hardware, scanners, and meters);
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
* Ability to travel to our other IDS Airport to help our company when called upon.
Salary : $26 - $28
