Integrated Dermatology is a leading national dermatology practice that acquires and operates dermatology practices across the United States.
As one of the largest dermatology practices in the country, operating in 25 states, we are seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge in addition to excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships. This position reports to the Controller, oversees the staff members and works closely with all levels of entity management: CFO, COO, VP of Operations, Practice Managers. As a part of the accounting team, the Corporate Accounting Manager will be responsible for accurate completion of monthly financial & statistical reports for our multiple corporate entities and various medical practices.
The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills and be able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
This is a fully remote position.
Job Description
- Manage and actively participate in the monthly financial close process for all corporate entities and several practices. This includes ensuring all transactions incurred are properly recorded, preparing, and reviewing adjusting journal entries, financial statement preparation, and balances sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financials package and covenants calculation for lenders.
- Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures in keeping with GAAP and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
- Focus on improving system efficiencies and simplification of business practices and companywide standardization.
- Prepare regulatory, statutory reports, governmental surveys, and census.
- Assist with year-end processes including audit and cash to accrual conversion.
- Manages a team of accountants
- Participate in and lead special projects as required.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of ERP system, such as Oracle (NetSuite)
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office/Excel)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and meet deadlines
- Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability
