Our busy dermatology practice is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our busy Dermatology practice!
Job Description
- Serves as a scribe in a fast-paced environment. Prepares notes for (our EMR) via an iPad
- Patient callbacks including test results, prescription refills and questions regarding care
- Facilitates outside patient referrals, medication prior authorizations and medication refills as specified Providers as needed.
- Cross trained to assist front office duties as needed. This includes registration, collection of co-pays & payments, scheduling of appointments and patient reminder calls.

Experience:
- 1 year medical assisting experience
- 1 year scribe experience, preferred
- EMR systems experience
Education:
- Associate degree is preferred
Certifications/Licenses:
Currently licensed Certified Medical Assistant
