Technician I (Machine Assembly)

This Technician I position is part of the Machine Assembly department located in Coralville, IA and will be on-site. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.

Schedule: Mon-Friday, 7a-4pm. OT eligible

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Follow standard operating procedures and work instruction documents while assembling IDT’s manufacturing equipment. Follows repeating cycle of machine assembly throughout the year.
• Interprets technical drawings and applies knowledge to assemble equipment. Complete logs, reports and forms to document assembly procedures and qualification data.
• Practices safe work habits, follows all IDT safety policies, performs safety checks on equipment and systems and identifies, corrects and reports potential safety hazards.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in engineering or maintenance related program, preferred.
• Adept at learning new skills and interest in machine work.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Minimum of two years of experience in a mechanically related field preferred.
• Previous electrical soldering experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems preferred.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
