In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Apply in-depth scientific knowledge with broad laboratory skills to independently execute complex bench experiments using a variety of molecular biology and analytical techniques, while maintaining GLP
- Ability to successfully serve as a core team member on multi-functional strategic projects; responsible for project QC deliverables, leads extended team members
- Ability to create method characterization procedures, method and software validation procedures, SOPs, and data analysis documentation for QC processes following QA/RA guidelines with minimal guidance
- Manage development and/or transfer of new QC processes or improvements to existing QC processes through implementation into production QC group with minimal assistance
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science related field or related professional experience required.
- 3 years of lab experience required, including relevant QC techniques (LCMS is most important but PCR, qPCR, NGS, HPLC, GC, CE, ESI as well).
- Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001 required.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Master’s degree in a science related field preferred
- Experience with statistical analysis and experimental design (JMP, SAS, R, DOE, etc.) preferred
- Proficiency in VBA code in Excel preferred
