In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist in the development of platforms (programs) for long single guide ribonucleic acids (sgRNA)
- Execute proof-of-concept experiments to optimize oligonucleotide manufacturing processes prior to GMP campaign operations.
- Familiarize yourself with the operations and minor maintenance on the OP-100, Oligosynthesizer, AKTA-150M Pure, Load and Lock columns.
- Work under the mentorship of senior chemists in manufacturing oligonucleotide activities.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in scientific related field or relevant experience required.
- Minimum 0-2 years of work experience in scientific field or biotech industry preferred.
- Knowledge of oligonucleotide manufacturing processes and synthesis methods preferred.
- No travel required
- Familiarization with standard oligonucleotide instrumentation.
- Experience with upstream (Synthesis, Cleavage/Deprotection) and downstream (Purification, Ultrafiltration-Diafiltration, Lyophilization) experiments for oligonucleotide manufacturing at umole and mmole scale.
- The ability to analyze and interpret QC and experimental data.
