In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist in the development of engineering designs using CAD software under guidance of senior engineers
- Support the assembly and testing of mechanical systems and prototypes
- Participate in design projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Analyze performance data and present findings in technical reports
- Gain experience working with production and laboratory equipment
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical or related engineering program at a college or university
- Completed at least two semesters of engineering coursework
- Basic proficiency with 3D CAD modeling software (Solid Edge, SolidWorks, PTC Creo, etc.)
- Mechanical skills and aptitude for problem-solving
- Understanding concepts involved with writing scripts in Python or other programming languages
- Prior completion of a college level statistics course or related analysis coursework
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standards (GD&T)
