Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Audiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of auditory health and will be responsible for diagnosing and treating hearing-related issues in patients of all ages. This role requires excellent communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare setting.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and evaluations for patients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Fit and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using computerized systems.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in audiology practices and technologies.
  • Lead community outreach programs to promote hearing health awareness.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
  • In-depth knowledge of physiology related to auditory health.
  • Leadership abilities to guide support staff and coordinate patient care.
  • Proficiency in office tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient files.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to audiology practices.
  • Competence in using Excel for data management and reporting purposes.
  • Experience or knowledge in pediatrics is a plus, as the role may involve working with children.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all patients.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
