About the Role
The Carrier Sales Representative is responsible for developing relationships with carriers to cover customer orders and ensure timely delivery. This role plays a key part in maintaining and growing the volume of business with key carriers.
Responsibilities
- Solicit potential and existing carriers to cover customer orders
- Dispatching, Tracking and Tracing of shipments with carriers
- Maintaining carrier relationships and growing business volume
- Carrier sourcing, recruitment, development, and management
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with carrier contacts
- Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with sales teams
- Prospect new carriers
- Understand transportation systems and company software
- Support A/R functions for timely payment
- Achieve budgeted targets for cases/loads and profit
- Communicate effectively with General Manager and sales team
- Live the Mission, Vision, and Values of the company

Pay range and compensation package
Base salary plus Bonus; Range: $50-60K Base salary. Benefits include Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401K, Paid time off.
