Position Title & Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will ensure that all health, safety, environmental, and quality programs and policies for IGS are adhered to. Responsible for, and actively manages IGS TSNA (Thermal Spray North-America) field services personnel and communications with client while building and maintaining interpersonal relationships. Provides feedback to IGS management team for corporate strategic initiatives related to customer service, safety, quality, project incentives and technical training needs. Supports IGS strategic growth objectives through execution of quality projects that directly impact the scalability and efficacy of IGS. Acts as a company liaison with the project client on all matters related to safety, timeline, identification of additional work and upsell opportunities.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinating: Quote and estimate review; Inter-departmental (sales-to-operations) handoff activities; Generation of project plans and schedules; Development of site layout per customer, work, and safety requirements.
- Project Integration: Verification of resource availability; Arrangement of necessary equipment, materials and consumables for effective execution; Support of team leaders for personnel logistics planning; Control of all job-related documentation and reports.
- Client Communication: Primary contact with client on-site; Confirmation of any client-supplied resources; Management of customer expectations and change-orders; Provides timely updates to internal and external stakeholders; Effective, professional representation of IGS during all client and third-party interactions; Facilitation of inspection activities and associated reporting; Administers post-completion surveys.
- Project Execution: Manages work to scope of contract; Actively leads team of highly trained technicians, team leaders, and safety personnel to deliver world-class solutions; Tracks team performance in terms of safety, quality, productivity, and alignment with IGS values; Spends commensurate time in work-area to actively manage team.
The Selected Applicant Will Have:
- 5-7 years relatable industry experience (oil & gas, power generation, industrial services)
- 3 or more years of leadership/management experience
- Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations
- Effective communications and interpersonal skills to coordinate with customers, leadership, office personnel and employees.
- Basic computer software skills including, MS Word, Excel & Project software
- Understand cost management and optimization of expenditures
- Ability to meet customer pre-access requirements such as occupational health examinations, training requirements, drug screens, background searches, etc.
