Position Summary:
This position is in an outpatient setting. Our Physical Therapists (PT) have created a great environment for our PTAs to learn a variety of physical modalities and patient instruction techniques that make this position fun, challenging and rewarding. We see a lot of sports injuries, orthopedic issues, spinal conditions, and pelvic floor patients. We also see vestibular and neurodegenerative patients. We like to partner with PTAs to help them obtain on the job and continuing education training to advance our teams ability to help a wide variety of conditions and to get the best clinical outcomes. Although our PTs are diligent to give direction through detailed treatment plans, our PTAs are also taught and encouraged to make treatment decisions as the patient’s progression.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide PT treatment under the direction of licensed PT

Willingness to care for a wide variety of physical and/or functional limitations, documenting progress with measurable and functional goals

Build professional relationships with clients

Follow office, state and professional boundaries

Provide quality service to patients of Integrated Health

Facilitate communication with PT to manage patient care
-
Collaborate with other medical and chiropractic staff when patient is seeing other providers at facility or could be potentially helped by others

Meet or exceed organizational goals set forth
Qualifications
Education & Experience:

Associates degree from accredited PTA school

Holds a current state license/certification

Competency in therapy treatment principles, techniques, materials and equipment utilization

Previous PTA work experience preferred, but not required

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Good organizational skills

Agree to abide by the APTA Practice Standards/Code of Conduct
