Salary Range: 1.00 To 1.00 (USD) Annually
Under the administrative direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) has the responsibilities to organize and administer areas of clinical and patient care services to attain hospital and organization goals and objectives over areas of clinical and patient care services. The CNO manages, directs, plans, and coordinates the functions and activities of assigned areas; oversees and administers assigned patient care programs and services; participates with the management, medical staff, and clinical leaders in executing administrative decision-making structures and processes as these functions relate to and impact the provision of total patient care. The CNO assists the hospital’s CEO, the Medical Staff, Board of Directors and other corporate administrators in the development, formation and implementation of hospital strategic plans and serves as a member of the hospital’s senior management team. Works collaboratively and cooperatively with members of the Medical Staff in conjunction with all clinical departments to accomplish the strategic goals and to implement the mission, vision, and values. The CNO implements an effective, ongoing program to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care, treatment and services delivered to patients. Promotes efficiency through sound and effective cost measures with a primary focus on providing quality health care.
