Salary Range: 180 To 210 (USD) Hourly
Seven Star Emergency Medicine Physician Our group is seeking Board Certified (or Board Eligible) Emergency Medicine Physicians to work in one or more of our 5 dynamic emergency departments (EDs). Our group covers 5 unique Community ED’s in Southern California with a mix of high, moderate and low acuities and volumes. There are a variety of options for you in Orange County, the Inland Empire and the high desert. We love Emergency Medicine and the communities we serve. We are looking for True EM Docs with “EM DNA” to join our group. We have a strong clinical team and have many opportunities for clinical and leadership growth, skill development and career satisfaction. “Perks”: 24 hour APP coverage at the busiest ED’s, partial APP coverage for higher volume times at the smaller ED’s (APP’s see fast-track, do most of the MSE’s) 24/7 Scribe Coverage at Busy ED’s, coverage for most of shift even at smaller ED’s Variety: wide mix of acuity 5 Unique ED’s (volumes range from 20 patients/day to 150s patients/day) High compensation potential (large RVU incentives at higher volume ED’s) Many opportunities for hands-on procedures Admin assistance with Credentialing We support Diversity and believe in empowering competent leaders Leadership and Bonus Opportunities for Special Skills in EM (ie. Admin, Ultrasound, Crit Care, Education/Simulation, Informatics etc) *Nocturnist Positions available: additional compensation offered Responsibilities All the clinical stuff EM Docs Do: Conduct timely MSE’s, histories, physical examinations, order tests, meds, follow-up on tests, do procedures, call consults, discharge, admit, and transfer if necessary. “Always do what’s right for the patient” is our motto We’re not Trauma Centers, but some of our hospitals are in more remote locations ie. You will see some Trauma. There are opportunities to get involved in Operations and Quality Committees if you are qualified and desire. Skills All the EM Skills (including POCUS) Knowledge of health and patient care regulations Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Strong ethics, Team spirit, positive attitude Board certification (or Board Eligible and proof of Board certification within 1.5 years of residency graduation), Valid/Active CA medical license, DEA, NPI, 5150, X-waiver (plus) Eagerness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience At least 1-2 Years of post-residency community ED experience preferred
