What will you be doing:
The incumbent is responsible for reviewing patient account open balances, assign/review ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS code to outpatient medical records and resubmit the claim for incorrect denials.
What will you come with:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
- Medical Biller/Coder certification highly desired
