- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of healthcare billing and claim experience within Home Care Services preferred
- Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10
- Proficiency with Health plan benefits and provider configuration
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
- Experience with HRP (Health Rule Payor) highly desired
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
- Medical Biller/Coder certification a plus
