What will you be doing:
Request and follows-up on DME authorization extensions for all health plan in a timely manner. Verifies equipment is still in use and in need by the patient. Obtains all current documentation in order to comply with the health plan requirements
What will you need to succeed:
- 1 year of Medical Billing Service
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
- Extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD.10 codes.
- Ability to interpret billing procedures and changes and assimilate information to computer.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus

Experience
Required- 2 year(s): Medical authorization experience
- Extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD.10 codes
