Job Summary:
The Assembly Technician/Material Handler tracks production orders and locates supplies and materials in the warehouse. The tasks mainly involve stocking shelves with new orders and selecting goods in accordance with specifications as well as assembling components for engines.

The Assembly Technician/Material Handler tracks production orders and locates supplies and materials in the warehouse. The tasks mainly involve stocking shelves with new orders and selecting goods in accordance with specifications as well as assembling components for engines.
Assembly Technician/Material Handler Responsibilities:
- The Assembly Technician/Material Handler will make sure machines and workstations are constantly supplied with material
- Retrieve extruded material and crates/boxes from storage and deliver them to the appropriate location
- Move boxes from the box line onto the skids
- Move partial boxes to the appropriate location
- Move all finished goods to the transition area
- Receive freight: offload, verify, inspect, report, and document freight to standard procedures
- Verify load and document ship freight to standard procedures
- Put away & pick up freight from the warehouse
- Support order processing and other warehouse activity as required
- Maintain drivers shipping & receiving log
- Conduct lift truck inspection daily
- Perform other duties as required by supervision to meet production and shipping requirements
- Provide kaizen ideas to improve quality, safety, cost, and time KPI’s
- Manufacturing work or light industrial experience is preferred but not required
- Hard-working with the ability to stay focused, pay attention to detail, and perform repetitive tasks over long periods of time
- Safety conscious and able to work well with others
- Strong organization skills
- The Assembly Technician/Material Handler needs to attend mobile-powered equipment training and successfully obtain an MPE operator’s license (training will be provided)
- Ability to lift up 25 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Monday – Friday
- 7 am – 3:30 pm
- Overtime may be required per business demands.
- $21/hour
