Job Summary:
The Business Development Coordinator provides administrative and sales support to Integrated Human Capital’s business development team to ensure timely delivery of the company’s solutions and services to our prospects and clients. This role will work under the direction of the VP, Business Development.
Business Development Executive Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist the Vice President of Business Development with sales-related tasks and projects by providing administrative support when needed.
Lead in the generation of sales proposals, quotes, and presentations by conducting research, writing content, and preparing the final work product.
Develop and maintain a repository to store and catalog sales presentations and proposals.
Draft company service agreements, as requested. Obtain the required signatures to formalize and finalize the process.
Run client credit reports within 24 hours of receipt of a credit application. Communicate and document credit results.
Organize and maintain a company file to store service agreements, contracts, and other documents.
Complete and catalog company/supplier registrations. Update registrations on an annual basis or as needed.
Participate in scheduled and ad hoc sales meetings to review account activities and sales strategy. Record meeting minutes.
Develop a directory of contacts for all IHC markets to capture market, industry, and company data to support the strategy and activities of the business development team.
Assist the business development team by compiling research on prospective clients through phone calls, email communication, online research, and other resources. Maintain a process for disseminating this information to the business development team.
Generate various sales reports through the company’s sales CRM on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis and prepare for review. Disseminate reports to members of IHC’s leadership and business development team.
Capture and communicate new business leads for the organization through the company website, social media, and IHC’s branch teams. Will also conduct a direct-to-prospect lead generation process using phone, email, and other methods of communication for the purpose of capturing and qualifying business leads.
When needed, assist the business development team by responding promptly to client inquiries. Engage sales support when appropriate.
Assist the business development team with new account implementation tasks, including Service Plan development, team training, and account set-up.
Collaborate with IHC’s Marketing Specialist on developing sales-related content, collateral, brochures, templates, online and print messaging, and other promotional materials.
Manage various projects and processes to ensure the growth of IHC’s brand reputation. This position may require collaboration with IHC’s Marketing Specialist and business development team.
Collaborate with IHC’s Marketing Specialist on creating, organizing, and executing digital and field sales campaigns and blitzes monthly, quarterly, and/or annually. Track and communicate post-campaign results to IHC’s market and leadership teams.
Serve as the primary contact and liaison between the company and its marketing vendors to implement, execute, and assess activities related to IHC’s marketing strategy.
Attend networking events, tradeshows, and company-sponsored events as needed. Prepare staff and event materials as directed.
Perform other duties as required.
Business Development Executive Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor's and/or an Associate’s degree preferred or the equivalent of two (2) years of related experience. Must be able to handle multiple projects with complex requirements successfully and effectively. Self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the internal team or the public is required. Must demonstrate practical and professional oral and written communication skills. Must have a proven ability to work collaboratively with internal team members, vendors, business partners, and clients with high professionalism and business ethics.
Physical Requirements:
Regular use of the phone, e-mail, and online for communication is essential. Sitting and walking for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges are necessary for everyday conversations, receiving ordinary information, and preparing or inspecting documents. No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for using standard office equipment such as computer terminals, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
Work Environment:
The job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting. Occasional travel to potential vendors, branches, events, and client sites within the sales territory may be required.
