OVERVIEW:
The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for ensuring schedules and deadlines are met efficiently. They will review all job paperwork to ensure accuracy, perform inspections, and oversee clean-up. The role involves assisting work crews as needed and representing the company professionally with subcontractors, customers, vendors, and utilities.
- High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School required.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and communicate effectively and professionally.
- Ability to manage daily workload independently to meet deadlines.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or project management experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of ASME code and AWS code to supervise welding and fabrication projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Past leadership experience.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Experience using industrial hand tools and power tools.
- Possession of Journeyman Precision Millwright hand tools.
- Minimum 8-10 years of industrial construction/maintenance experience.
- Experience in assembly of industrial equipment.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
- 10 years’ experience
- Welding 3 years’ experience
- Millwright 8 years’ experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to bend, climb, kneel, stoop, walk, push, and pull objects.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Willingness to work in various environments and temperatures, including both office and field settings.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
