Psychiatrist Job Description
We seek a compassionate, experienced psychiatrist to join our outpatient medical facility. You will be responsible for assessing patients, diagnosing or ruling out mental disorders, prescribing treatments, and conducting regular follow-up appointments to monitor the patient's progress.

Responsibilities
· Assessing patients through interviews, observations, tests, and medical history reviews.
· Diagnosing patients accurately.
· Develop comprehensive treatment plans and prescribe medication as needed.
· Consulting with other medical professionals and psychologists.
· Regularly follow up with the patient to check progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
· Thoroughly documenting each patient's diagnosis, symptoms, medication, treatment effectiveness, etc.
· Providing patients with emotional support and strategies to help manage their disorder.
· Researching new developments in psychiatry and mental health.

Job Types: Full-time Monday to Friday
Compensation: Highly Competitive compensation plan, 401k and Health Insurance
Physical setting: The job requires in-office presence five days a week (remote telehealth is an option on some days)
Weekly schedule: 40-hour workweek
Education:
· Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
· 4 years of Psychiatric residency.
· Board of Psychiatry certification and state-licensed or eligible with plans and timeline to certification.
Experience:
· Prefer at least two years of experience in the mental health field or a similar capacity.
· Work Location: Office located in Plantation, Florida, with some remote Telehealth
