What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control position at Integrated Packaging Machinery, LLC?
The Inventory Control Clerk maintains the tools and spare parts used in manufacturing and for installations. Ensures that parts and tools are properly stored, inventoried, receive preventative maintenance and are issued to employees when needed.
Essential Job Functions
· Receives, stores, and issues parts, hand tools, machine tools, materials, and equipment in industrial setting.
· Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of tools and parts issued and returned.
· Locates lost or misplaced tools and parts.
· Maintains picking records and inventory adjustments in inventory management system.
· Maintains all parts inventory to customers or job sites.
· Delivers tools or parts to workers, manually or using hand truck or fork lifts as needed.
· Marks and identify tools and parts, using identification tag.
· Manages returned parts including identifying, documenting, re-inventorying parts or returning to the vendor
· Processes work orders by picking material and receiving and storing the finished goods
Accurately catalog parts/equipment in each skid according to company standards.
Responsible for preparing and shipping of small packages. (Tier II)
· Schedule LTL (less than truckload) shipments (Tier II)
· Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
· 0-1 year experience
· Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, EPICOR (or other ERP software).
· Previous experience with fork lift or hand trucks is preferred
Education Requirements:
· High School diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to move items 50 pounds.
· Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required
· Standing for long periods of time
Travel Requirements:
· Travel is not required.
