The Shipping and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of equipment logistics, from disassembly at the IPM facility to delivery at the project site. This individual plays a critical role in ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy in the transportation of project equipment and materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the packing and disassembly process of equipment, ensuring all identified parts are easily locatable for on-site field teams.
  • Oversee the wrapping and packaging of equipment, ensuring safety and protection of items (including loose items) during transit.
  • using IPM standards for asset tracking methods, coordinate the preparation and packing of safety items, tools, and non-inventory items required at the job site.
  • Supervise the loading and unloading of trucks at the IPM facility, guaranteeing safe and secure handling of all materials.
  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of all necessary shipping documentation, including BOLs, packing slips, digital, and paper copies are prepared and placed on skids or crates for visibility and clarity of identification. Communicate documentation status proactively with field teams.  
  • Coordinate the scheduling of semi logistics for transporting equipment from the IPM facility to the project site.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 prior experience in in a manufacturing environment with logistics, operations, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Teams and Excel.
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.

 

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Professional Certifications:

  • None required

Physical Requirements:

  • Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to move 50 pounds
  • Bending, lifting, twisting, crawling for extended periods of time

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 25%
