Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Coordinate patient check-in and check-out processes
- Verify insurance information and collect payments
- Provide excellent customer support and address patient concerns or complaints
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for medical staff
Skills:
- Front desk reception experience, preferably in a medical or dental setting
- Medical coding and billing
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient records, appointment scheduling, and office tasks
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures as a medical receptionist
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for managing financial transactions and billing processes
- Proficiency in using Google Suite applications for email, document management, and calendar scheduling
