Responsibilities & Expectations :
The Motor Control Center (MCC) Layout Specialist is responsible for preparing MCC orders before entering the shop. This includes picking necessary parts, and ensuring MCC layout is appropriate for the buckets to be installed.
- Review MCC Layouts : Understand MCC layout diagrams provided by Shop Supervisor
- MCC Layout Preparation : Prepare the layout of verticals to match MCC layout diagrams
- Cleaning and painting : Ensure that MCC verticals are clean and ready to be painted; will wear required PPE for painting, including a half face respirator for spray painting
- Transport parts : Will move parts throughout warehouse
- Final Inspection : Communicate with Shop Supervisor when work has been completed, this final check will ensure the vertical is ready to move to painting and then buckets can be installed
