Responsibilities & Expectations: 

• Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shop & employees
• Will manage, coordinate, and prioritize workflow in a large motor shop
• Maintain schedules/deliveries
• Distribute workload
• Provide superior technical support for our customers
• Direct the shop personnel to ensure the technical competence of work being completed
• Maintain the present customer base as well as build new relationships
• Adhere to all company policies
• Observe all safety procedures and policies and use proper protective equipment (especially eye and ear protection and steel toe shoes/boots, gloves, etc.)
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Report all injuries, near misses, and accidents immediately to a supervisor
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Competencies: 

• Previous supervisory/management experience in the electric motor/rotating repair apparatus repair industry with knowledge of AC/DC motor repair. Additional experience with pumps, generators, blowers, and field service also desired
• Must possess the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Exceptional customer service skills and growing awareness of our products and services
• Strong personnel & account management and communication skills is a must.
• Electrical or mechanical engineering degree desired but will consider experience and skills as well.
