Responsibilities & Expectations :
IPS is seeking a Senior Corporate Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving continuous improvements in accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls within a manufacturing or industrial services environment.
- Lead and oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the corporate general ledger and oversee account reconciliations.
- Oversee the treasury function, including reviewing bank activity and reconciliations, as well as cash consolidations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports, financial forecasts, and variance analyses .
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
- Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and senior leadership to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external tax advisors, as needed.
- Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Other ad hoc tasks to support corporate accounting, as needed.
