Responsibilities & Expectations:
Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. As a Warehouse Manager for IPS you will be responsible for maintaining inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items; securing warehouse; and supervising staff.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance.
- Manage customer owned equipment through offsite inventory.
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accurace.
- Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and review; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems.
- Maintain items records, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
