CANDIDATE
IPEC is seeking an experienced, full-time Accountant with a minimum of 3-5 years accounting/bookkeeping experience to join our team. Manufacturing and/or Project Accounting experience a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The accountant will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions, including reconciliation and reporting. This includes the following key processes:
Accounts Payable: Supervise Accounts Payable Clerk and provide assistance as necessary.
Accounts Receivable: Set-up and maintain customer accounts in QuickBooks. Track project milestones to initiate invoice generation, monitoring aging and collection of customer accounts, and recording all transactions accurately in QuickBooks.
Sales Commissions: Responsible for the computation of sales commissions, maintenance of commission schedules, sales representative accounts and payment of commissions.
Payroll: Collection of data to process bi-weekly payroll in cooperation with payroll provider. Maintain records and provide employee assistance as needed. Manage and reconcile employee benefits within payroll program.
401K Program: Responsible for management of 401K program. Arrange meetings with financial advisors and employees, file reports in a timely manner, interface with account representative.
Sales tax: Reconcile and process sales tax returns on a timely basis.
Cash Management: Prepare and record bank deposits and bank reconciliations, anticipate & organize cash-flow management.
QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions: Reconcile and maintain accurate ledger, bank and credit card accounts within QuickBooks. Preparation, management and tax reporting (incl. 1099 etc.) in cooperation with our tax advisor, when necessary. Responsible for the maintenance of most aspects of QuickBooks
QUALIFICATIONS
· Post-Secondary Degree
· 3-5 years of comparable experience within a company of a similar size and/or a manufacturer, wholesale distributor or other specialty service provider.
· Experience using QuickBooks, preferably Enterprise Solutions for a wide range of accounting functions.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
