Who We're Seeking :
We are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead thedesign, development, and maintenance of advanced control systems. The idealcandidate will have expertise in troubleshooting complex control systems,programming PLCs, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating acrossdisciplines to drive innovation and ensure seamless operations. This role isperfect for someone with a strong technical background, effective communicationskills, and a passion for learning and improvement.
What You'll Do : This role requires on-site / in-office presence daily. Key responsibilities include :
- Providing hands-on support for controls assembly processes and leading on-site installations - up to 50% travel required .
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve complex control system issues.
- Provide expert guidance to junior engineers and technical teams.
- Program advanced PLCs to develop and optimize control logic, enhancing automation processes and system functionality.
- Utilize Studio 5000 Logix Designer, Studio 5000 View Designer, and FactoryTalk View ME for developing and configuring sophisticated control systems.
- Design and review Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to meet system requirements and operational needs.
- Implement and enforce change control procedures, including documentation and approval processes.
- Lead motor selection processes, ensuring system performance and compatibility with control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support subsystem integration and ensure seamless operation.
- Contribute to the development and review of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) documentation.
- Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to foster the development of junior engineering talent.
Who You Are :
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field with at least 7 years of experience in control systems engineering
Demonstrated ability to manage the scope, schedule, and resources of engineering projects while balancing technical and budgetary constraints.
