What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Specialist (IT) position at Integrated Resources, Inc ( IRI )?
DAYS - 8HR (7:30AM- 4PM Mon- Fri)
IS Support Tech- In Office: Las Vegas, NV
(The work will begin at Spring Valley and last about 3 months. After that the work will be at West Henderson.)
Contractors will be involved in building and deploying the technical infrastructure -PCs, printers, etc.
Responds to help desk requests from local users for direct assistance and fast path training on systems in use.
Installs, maintains, and repairs personal computer devices and programs.
Answers support calls, logs calls, documents call resolutions and provides telephone based customer service and
troubleshooting for the Health System’s computer equipment and related applications.
Supervises work of outside consultants and other lower level personnel in facility.
Provide regular updates of problem resolutions and status reports to Support Services Manager.
Completes work assigned, and produces expected amount of work. Shows that work assignments are understood.
Effectively works with vendors to find cost effective solutions to technical problems.
Effectively communicates to end-users, other departments, administration, vendors and IS staff in layman terms so that
complex technical issues are understood by them.
Maintains appropriate technical inventory and documentation.
Understands and follows IS Department prioritization scheme for projects.
Education Associates Degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent related work experience.
Experience Two to five years of desktop and network maintenance and support
Technical Skills In depth knowledge of desktop technologies, working knowledge of networking technologies
License/Certification Certified professional in computer maintenance and repair, certified network administrator or equivalent work experience.
