Job Summary:
- The position will also participate in or occasionally lead projects to meet the plant's objectives, drive cost reduction efforts and participate in capacity expansion efforts.
- Assist in the management of Client’s warehouse system, as well as coordinating between planners and ERP application engineers.
- Assist team of engineers to provide production support and troubleshooting for 24/7 manufacturing operation. Work with production associates, technicians, and engineers to ensure reliable equipment operation via automated control systems and user interfaces.
- Support process and product optimization/improvement efforts.
- Some after hours, on-call support may be needed.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or Associate’s Degree with 2-3 years of experience
- 1-3 years in a technical role, support role or relevant experience is ideal
- Some knowledge of databases and SQL is strongly desired
- Helpdesk experience
- MS Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in production support in a manufacturing environment
- Problem-solving and debugging skills; ability to understand real needs behind operations requests
- Monday-Friday 8AM - 5PM
- Occasional off-hours on call
- Expected to relocate to the Wilmington, NC area
