Senior Learning Design Professional
Assignment: 6 months for now (possible ext. or conversion to FT, but based off performance, evaluation, and team needs at that time)
Shift: M-F
Location: Work From Home
The Senior Learning Design professional is embedded in the PCO learning team as part of the learning design function. The learning design function is uniquely responsible for both the design and development of learning content for our clinical partners.
The Senior Learning Design professional is accountable for designing and developing enterprise learning solutions in partnership with education leads and key stakeholders. This role takes responsibility for developing, implementing, monitoring, and improving all learning program content utilized by PCO associates; this work includes, but is not limited to performing analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning solutions.

This area is under the leadership of Client’s Primary Care Organization Learning Design Team.

Main Responsibilities
- Use instructional design principles and methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, AGILE Models) to design, storyboard, develop, and implement enterprise learning content to support all role-specific learning journeys for clinical operations (such as medical assistants, center administrators, and front office staff).
- Collaborate with education leads, project owners, subject matter experts (SMEs), business partners, key stakeholders, and external resource vendors to develop best-in-class learning content.
- Develop engaging learning programs and course content that enhance retention and knowledge transfer; includes, but not limited to instructional materials (courses, videos curriculum, guides, and manuals), supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.), learner assessment activities.
- Make recommendations for new learning methods, routinely utilizes new technologies and methodologies in development of training content and makes recommendations for the appropriate technologies to best deliver the training content.

- Innovation: Ability to develop learning experiences using a wide variety of innovative design approaches: adaptive learning, social learning, micro-learning, scenario-based learning, conceptual, and system learning.
- Communication: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively; write effective copy, instructional text, and audio script/video scripts.
- Project and Portfolio Management: Ability to lead large projects and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of requested and required training materials.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of five years of instructional design and development focused in adult learning/theory
- A minimum of two years of project leadership experience across matrixed organization
- Prior demonstrated capability of functioning in a dynamic and high performing team culture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including PowerPoint
- Experience in eLearning tools such as Adobe suite, Captivate, Articulate360, Vyond, WellSaidLabs, Camtasia, and similar authoring suites
- Must share samples from learning design portfolio
- Master's Degree in one of the following areas: Business Administration; Learning and Performance; Education; Human Resources, Organizational Design or Related field.
- Certification in instructional design
- Experience designing learning for clinical or healthcare settings
- Location: Work at home nationwide
- Minimal travel required; 10% annually
