- Performs all aspects of circuits, components, assemblies, instrument or product line assessment testing by following detailed test procedures.
- May provide support and direction to lower level technicians.
- Evaluates test results for compliance to specification and communicates deviations or nonconformance.
- Uses initiative and technical skill to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair. May be involved in moderately complex investigations.
- Identifies and communicates conditions that might effect the quality or integrity of the product.
- Attentive to opportunities for continuous improvement makes recommendations for alternatives and proposes solutions to problems.
- Technical know how -possesses specialized skills & knowledge related to job. Prefer a background in molecular biology & experience with instrumentation including capillary electrophoresis & GC/mass spectrometer;
- Effective communication -furnishes, obtains & demonstrates understanding of moderately complex information & reports;
- Teamwork - fulfills responsibilities &supports team members within a professional environment.BS in Life Science preferred.
