- Develop understanding of process and equipment functions in area of responsibility.
- Industrialize manufacturing platforms (platform = process equipment) for revolutionary
performance, and quality issues, or reduce either the as installed or long-term
operational costs.
- Develop and use project plans and timelines to achieve project goals without sacrificing
guidelines for same.
- Develop project work plans and schedules that support overall project objectives,
- Direct initial equipment set-up and debug up to the point of turnover to operations.
- Develop and use mechanical, electrical and process start-up and debug checklists,

- Provide troubleshooting support during equipment installation and start-up phases,
- Provide training to plant personnel on the manufacturing platform as part of the turnover
- Supports the estimating and management project budgets.

Job Knowledge and Educational Level:
- A.A.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Related
- 2-3 years' experience in manufacturing environment experience working with process and automation equipment.
- Knowledge of regulations applicable to area of expertise and works to ensure
- Equipment design background utilizing Autodesk Inventor or other 3D modeling tools;

- Translates technical solutions to requirements, then further to process and/or equipment
