Duties:

Job Summary:

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Education:

Required Education:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  
  

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
  
  

Required Certification & Licensure:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

Schedule Notes: REQUIRED: Minimum 1 year CVOR experience, minimum 1 year experience with all of the following: Open Heart, replacement and creation of valves, bypass, endovascular and open vascular cases, current active MI licensure, and BLS certification.
