Title : Process Engineer III
Location : Framingham, MA (Hybrid role with at least 3 days / week in office.)
Duration : 6 months
Schedule : M to F (9am to 5pm EST)
Job Description :
The Process Engineer III position is in the Mechanistic Modeling & Process Control group, which is part of the Process Data Science and Digital Transformation (DSD) department in the global MSAT organization.
The successful candidate will support global biologics manufacturing sites and other MSAT functional groups with development and implementation of advanced process technologies (e.g. Digital twin, PAT) for improved process tech transfer / scale-up, monitoring and control.
Key qualifications as below :
Experience with biopharmaceutical process modeling (mechanistic / hybrid modeling, chemometric modeling e.g. PAT Raman) and process control.
Experience with advanced data analysis / programming e.g. Python.
Master / PhD degree in Chemical / Biochemical Engineering or related engineering / science discipline. 3 years of experience.
Master - at least 3 years of professional exp.
PhD - 1 year of prof exp soft skills – ability to collaborate with different functions, teamwork, strong contributor, communication.
Understanding GMP or quality systems and numerical methods.
Nice to have - Digital modeling but has some hands-off experimental activities along with modeling.
Ability to develop in an experimental plan to draw conclusions and collaboration with others.
