What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Leader 3rd Shift position at Integrated Resources, Inc ( IRI )?
This may become a hybrid position where they will be asked to do kitting, drive the forklift and assist with other processes:
Prior Forklift and Warehouse experience requested.
Active forklift certification is a plus.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Tugger – Experience Is Preferred
Fork lift – must be able to fully operate forklift – prefer at least 6 months of experience
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Receive pads/plugs and check for quantity and quality of materials
- Notify Team Leader of any product defects or concerns
- Unpack and sort items into proper storage bins
- Transporting plugs to the line
- Transporting sound dampener pads to the line
- Maintain line side inventory of plugs, grommets, and melt pads
- Run hood block route between fixture and sealer decks
- Operate Tugger in a safe, focused manner
- Ensure all work areas and storage locations are clean and in good housekeeping
- Support and follows all company policies and procedures, and upholds ***’s interests in a positive and professional manner
- Works a minimum of 40 hrs per week on-site and may be required to work additional hours as required or requested by the Quality Measures Manager
- Ensure compliance with all safety training requirements
- Load and Offload all trucks from the south dock and transport materials to the arranged location
- Removal of empty containers and transport to an agreed upon area
- Load and off-load sealer material
- Load wax accordingly to specified schedule
- Make daily trip to Mail Room and deliver packages to appropriate area
- Ensure all work areas and storage locations are clean and in good housekeeping
- Notify Logistics Lead of any abnormal issues found throughout the shop during initial walk through in first hour of shift in all areas using process materials and ensure empty barrels/totes are removed from service (PT/EC line, Sealer, Satellite hazardous waste stations, satellite non-hazardous waste stations, Mix Room, and Wax)
- Ensure materials are ready to be used according to FIFO procedures
- Ensure all products on and offline are properly in place and not within range of expiring
- Support and follows all company policies and procedures, and upholds ***’s interests in a positive and professional manner
- Work a minimum of 40 hrs per week on-site and may be required to work additional hours as required or requested by the Logistics Manager
- Ensure compliance with all safety training requirements
- Update and maintain sealer board
- Change sealer system filters on schedule
- FIFO stock in Kitting, Wax and Sealer
- Other duties as assigned by Logistics Lead
- Collect samples for basecoat and clear coat systems to record viscosities and pH levels daily
- Calibrate viscometer and pH meter daily
- Monitor Nitrogen inventory and change out/switch tanks as necessary
- Collect and record data including system pressures, temperatures, and tank levels
- Monitor inventory levels of bulk materials, system materials, and cleaning materials
- Record material usages daily and submit weekly inventory and usages to the CPP Manager
- Unload paint totes from truck to storage area, from storage area to circulation systems and ultimately to circulation tank
- Flushing of the Basecoat systems as required
- Flushing of the Clear coat systems as required
- Perform system filter changes as scheduled
- Make necessary adjustments to the system
- Unload empty totes from circulation systems to storage area for removal
- Maintain neat and orderly work stations
- System troubleshoot – assist suppliers and customer
- Bring or assist in bringing inoperable equipment back online
- Exercise all applicable safety standards
