What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Distribution III position at Integrated Resources, Inc ( IRI )?
The start time would be 6:00 am and we are currently doing 9 hours Monday through Thursday and 4 on Friday. This will most likely change as we ramp up with more hours needing to be worked on Friday and possibly weekends occasionally.
Key Areas of Responsibility Operations: Create, update, adhere to and enforce safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Ensure the physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, inspection, storage and fulfillment (shipping) of materials within assigned storage locations are completed accurately. Ensure bin locations are maintained, and materials are labeled appropriately. Audit shipments to assure quality and accuracy. Complete data entry and file records of material movements and other records. Maintain training in TEDs. Work with internal customers and external suppliers as required and communicate the needs of the workgroup. Ensure all communications are answered promptly, (within 24 hours) and accurately. Continuous Improvement: Actively engage in the implementation and/or sustaining of a LEAN culture to maximize resources, minimize waste, and improve overall operational efficiencies in the end-to-end customer value stream. Ensure departmental 0-D-l-P targets are met. Prepare for, participate in and comply with all internal and external audits and inspections. Identify opportunities and successfully lead and/or participate in improvement projects (Kaizen, QEK, or other). Projects must align and help support the overall business objectives: With our hearts and minds we: delight our customers and deliver our brand promise. Design and deliver safe, reliable and effective products and services. Drive a culture of continuous improvement. Comply with all applicable internal and external regulatory and compliance requirements. Maintain an effective and efficient quality management program.
