Job Description
Responsibilities: Under supervision from project managers, this position is responsible for scheduling and oversight of retrieval, review, and abstraction of medical record data performed by team members on their regional team. • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. • Prepares weekly reports for upper management regarding status of project for their team. • Tracks progress, monitors and communicates project status regularly, and identifies and resolves issues related to the project. • Works with project owners to manage project quality. • Monitors regional team members’ schedules, attendance, general quality and productivity and reports issues or concerns back to project managers. • Addresses questions and issues from regional team members • Facilitates project communications at all levels for all project logistics. • Work with assigned project manager as needed to complete project deliverables. This person will represent Client of Tennessee and must perform duties in a professional manner, utilizing time and resources efficiently. Computer proficiency is required, and experience with electronic data transfer and use of removal media device is desired. Professional appearance, current valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for project participation.
Qualifications
Qualifications: • Must have active LPN or RN license in the state of Tennessee or compact state • Knowledge and experience of HEDIS or supplemental data project abstraction methods preferred. • HEDIS or supplemental data project experience is preferred, but not required • Experience in medical record review required • Some travel involved • Must be able to work independently or in a team environment and have excellent organizational skills • Excellent telephone and communication skills required • Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, is required • Must successfully complete the training program offered, and meet & maintain acceptable performance goals
