Job Description
Project Manager- R&D/Manufacturing
Location: South Plainfield, NJ
Duration: Contract to hire (3-6 months contract)
Project Manager III reports to and takes direction from the PMO Lead or Vice President under special program circumstances.
The Project Manager III creates, implements, and manages projects effectively, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Creates and establishes project strategy, schedules, and budgets.
- Conducts team meetings with internal and external stakeholders; developing agendas, meeting minutes, and action items for team members.
- Ensures project scope is clearly defined; developing and managing project plans to meet deliverables.
- Responsible for identifying critical project issues and risks with timely communication and resolution.
- Monitors and updates project deliverables.
- Manages record-keeping of all the agreements and contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting and foster collaborations, internally and externally.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Typically requires a University degree and minimum of 3-5 years of related experience.
Previous Pharmaceutical or Bio manufacturing experience.
Certifications (PMO, Six Sigma, etc.) a plus.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience working with Workfront or another Project Management tool.
Other Duties
Other special projects and/or duties may be assigned by Management.
Resolves project issues by working with team members, project customers, and others as appropriate.
Act as point of contact for project reporting & update.
