Job Title : QC Analyst
Job Location : Indianapolis ,IN
Job Duration : 12 Months
Job Shift : 2nd Shift : 4 pm - 12 : 30 pm
Job Description :
General lab experience, handling chemicals, pipetting, using balances, basic math knowledge .
Preferred skills : HPLC, Carl Fisher
Education :
Chemistry Degree preferred
Responsibility :
- Perform common laboratory procedures such as pH, weighing on analytical balances, glassware prep, equipment calibrations, and reagent preparations. Perform routine analytical testing for in-process, finished product, and raw materials utilizing HPLC, GC, UV-Vis. Performs other laboratory duties as assigned.
- Works under direct supervision and selects from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels.
- Applies basic and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, materials and equipment, appropriate to areas of specialization.
- Utilizes PC for data entry / retrieval and calculations.
