The primary focus of the QC Associate position is to perform GMP testing to support product release and in-process testing within the QC Microbiology Department. This role will also provide technical support and troubleshooting for analytical or microbiological tests.
Duties / responsibilities include :
Experience with microbiology techniques such as environmental monitoring, microbial identification, water / gas sampling, and gram-staining.
Demonstrated experience with basic laboratory techniques and laboratory safety practices.
Identify and facilitate continuous improvement projects.
Experience with LIMS and ELN computer applications is preferred.
Attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills.
Technical writing skills and ability to effectively communicate with peers and department management.
Detail oriented with the ability to work in a high-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple assignments.
Experience working in a GMP environment is preferred.
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or life sciences with minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a regulated industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
