Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds : 766 licensed beds
• Unit staffing description- (unit Productaries and tech availability) : Work side by side with members of interdisciplinary teams on all units: PA s, NP s, Residents, Attending MDs, Fellows, PCA, and ASAs
• Type of equipment : wound vac, EKG monitoring, advanced neuro assessments
• Documentation system: EPIC
• Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend; may request weekend block Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon
• Floating policy: to areas with competency.
• Patient Experience requirements: Working with a variety of different patient populations. Must be flexible in assignments, comfortable with change, and willing to learn new skills

Advanced skills needed: Ability and willingness to float to 22 different medical and surgical units. Unit assignments will be made on a shift to shift basis to best meet the needs of each of these units.

4. Can you tell me about a difficult conversation you ve had with a physician? What was the issue and how was it addressed?
5. Do you have tertiary care experience? How long?
6. Describe special skills-
   1. Wound vac changes, Cortrak insertion or management, IV insertion, phlebotomy, Vocera use?
7. Describe how your practice is patient centered vs. task oriented
8. Do you hold any professional nursing national certifications?
9. Do you have experience with:
   1. Step down care, drips, cardiac monitoring, neurosciences?
   2. Chemotherapy
   3. Covid positive/infectious disease
   4. Acute rehab
   5. Palliative care/post mortem care
   6. Codes including stroke, rapid response
